Exactly. It’s not an anti-communist book. It was written by a left-libertatian/anarchist, Orwell, who though alongside anarchists and communists in Spain.
Dude literally took up arms for socialism. Reactionaries have no critical thinking and historical analysis skills.
Great video! I use Warsaw’s transit system every day and can confirm all that you said.
However there is imo a big issue with this system - the tickets are quite expensive and because of that there is a lot of fare dodging. People figure out that it is cheaper to pay the fine if they get caught. I believe public transport should be free, and it is in many cities in poland already, so why not Warsaw?
Of course they do. But the default is still manual in europe and most drivers prefer the control it gives them over their cars. In the US it’s the opposite.
My guess is this is due to different styles of driving in the us and europe due to different infrastructure.
I actually agree with you about NK being a brutal dectatorship. I’m not a tankie or a dictator apologist. Far from it. You’re misreading my comment through a biased lens, making personal assumptions about me.
I just wanted to point out that the US had a primary role in creating and worsening the divsion of korea for decades. Even if the USSR and China and their form of imperialism was also to blame. That’s just a historical fact that is purposefuly obscured by propaganda and it’s important to remember.
