That picture was a pure snippit of you. It took confidence to ask the unknown lurkers for their input, and confidence is beautiful and strong. Even if your physical attributes aren’t to your liking, your personality will be what sticks with people.
Im not sure you can make blanket “as you can see” comments like that. I don’t see ugly. I see someone who was determined enough to graduate.
Please reevaluate why you feel ugly and address it by making choices YOU feel will fix it, one step at a time.
Side note, I have such mixed feelings on HP. I have only anecdotal things to say, so please keep that in mind!
I bought a budget HP Pavilion back in 2020, for a similar reason to you, because of the Ryzen setup. It sees use 4-5 times a week. And I have to say… I love it.
The build quality is, in my opinion, outstanding for a budget ($600) laptop. Its metal, solid, with almost no noticable keyboard flex. It feels so much better than both Dells my wife and I use for work. And the keyboard is actually my favorite of all the boards in my house.
My family has always had new tech coming in and out of the house and one of the longest lasting devices we had was an HP 2-In-1.
I don’t support their scummy software practices (shoutout brother printers). But for the most part every piece of HP tech I’ve bought has been average or above. But online they’re somewhat universally panned. Its interesting.
Exactly. I envision them threatening to leave, but ultimately not taking the revue hit by raising prices for the end users.
I don’t agree with profits over everything. I anticipate the public narrative blaming the drivers or politicians for them exiting the market, but in my opinion its their own corporate greed thats pushing them out. This is unfair and people shouldn’t be vilified for standing up for workers rights.
Ive used the Ally and I would agree. The hardware is great and feels good in hand, but Valve is going to have much more to gain by supporting the software of the deck as much as possible.
The steam deck definitely shipped undercooked, but Valve has made amazing strides to make it my a reliable and versatile experience.
I use a steam deck dock to hook it to my TV, but A LOT of the time im using it in desktop mode in this setup. I get crisp 1080p out and its a fantastic experience for playing youtube and twitch from the couch.
