The answer to your question. There are news channels that are only on social networks. Or bloggers who publish insider information about new equipment. As far as I know, you can’t do without scraping on the server if you want to receive news from social networks.
Except for off-the-shelf solutions like Nitter instants.
I tried listening to podcasts through RSS apps in F-droid. Nothing came of this venture. These RSS readers do not support any media other than photos. I will test Miniflux in the near future. They declare their support YouTube.
When I read that someone is planning to open their code, I remember the news about the releases of the Sailfish operating system: “The operating system is partially open source, but the layer for running Android apps is proprietary. However, the code of this layer was planned to be made open in 2017”
I hate these captcha. You look at the picture, the edge of the traffic light or the motorcycle goes outside the box. You decide to click on the square where this tiny part of the image is and the message “This is incorrect!”.
Captcha without images from Cloudflare is even more infuriating. The so-called “Connection reliability check” takes quite a long time and this captcha appears often.
I remember the news when Dwango company decided to open source the Toonz program. On one of the forums I read a lot of criticism about the quality of their code.
But no one will deny that this is a useful program for artists, even if the program code is not very good.
On the spare instance that I use, the language settings are simply not taken into account. I choose to display posts in my language, save, but the settings return to default and only english is displayed.
