Just saw some news about MGM. I will admit that I’m not all that great at this security stuff, but it seems like something went horribly wrong during basic ITification if you’re elevator control systems can be impacted by the same issue that your public website is

For those complaining Mastodon isn’t developing fast enough compared to Threads, worth noting Meta has about 90 people working on it plus the wider engineering teams there supporting.. whereas Mastodon is a non-profit that has about 3 staff.
