Yeah I found a guide on how to replace it and bought a part, it’s a massive hassle but doable (you basically need to take apart the entire laptop).
USB C PD charger
not ideal since W541 doesn’t have a USB C port (it has 3.0) but I have considered this. I assume all I’d need is a USB C to USB 3 adapter for this to work.
That’s also how IRC works and most chat platforms are heavily inspired by IRC, unless you use a program (bouncer) that kept you online 24/7. I assume there must be something similar for Matrix
I think it comes down to the US being tolerant because winning hearts and minds was more important than destroying Opium. The Taliban has no such qualms.
I just block them whenever they pop up on my feed. It is annoying but they have have ~20 active communities on Lemmygrad and Hexbear each, at some point you’ll run out of places to block and they’re gone.
You’re on Lemmy.ml, so this does not affect you directly, although it will mean no users from lemmy.world will access those communities, which inturn will mean they have less activity than they otherwise would have.
