Maybe not ensure he’s fucked for the rest of his life?…

I don’t believe they do that anymore, but I could be wrong.

Often, sure. But not guaranteed.

Apart from the fact that Windows is still the number one gaming OS… sure.

Not that crazy. I think I’m sitting at 23.5%?

Alexas phone home… a lot. My TV does the same. As do many random devices in my network.

I have IoT devices that would love to phone home but I’m controlling them locally so have disallowed them connecting to the internet.

It adds up quickly.

I think the part that’s missing is that this advice is related to companies, not in general. If the company is making a profit, and not asking you to pay, where is the money coming from?

Tunneling is one of the better options out there tbh.

This is for reading‽‽ That is absolutely insane.

I mean, kinda?

A CEO is what you get when you agree to hand over the reigns of a company to someone you hire to run it. Yes, you can obviously go over their heads and essentially still run the company, but most CEOs will take issue with that and immediately make moves towards looking for a new company, contract allowing.

I could see that, yeah. It’s funny because I was just arguing with someone on Reddit the other day, claiming that making our own API using a scraper would be simple and easy.

I pointed out that scraping can invoke bans and is easily worked around by the service. Apparently Twitter doesn’t know how to detect scraping so just went with “NO ONE USES THE SITE FOR MORE THAN 20 MINUTES A DAY!”

How’d you manage to get the pricing? VPN?

I don’t really think anyone in the government has a good solution for this, do they?

Remove the available money? Only the rich go to college. Add more money? The prices go up.

You could try regulating it, but then you just get colleges that refuse to accept government money, while simultaneously asking for the same amount.

I’m sure someone has a solution that would work, but it’s not anyone with the power to implement it, that’s for sure.
