GloveNinja, to noncredibledefense in Which button do I press for the gay frogs?

I’m fairly certain that “Turn the freakin’ frogs gay” is a side effect of cell towers. If you open the main compartment on a tower, it’s just three buttons labeled:

  1. Cancer - default setting
  2. COVID - 2020 ‘Hard Mode’ feature
  3. Rainbows - Gary in R&D was fired since this option made everyone gay (frogs too)

I’ll point out that since most people stopped getting COVID boosters that the second option doesn’t do much anymore. We all know the boosters had extra microchips since they naturally degrade in our systems over time.

It’s worth noting that you can also use the terminal to download all the data captured by your local “birds”.

Also, as much as I shouldn’t need to put this… /s

GloveNinja, to privacyguides in What is your favorite cybersecurity tool and why?

You’ve given me a lot to look into this weekend! Thank you

GloveNinja, to 196 in This is an apology, I hope whatever healthy thing you do brings you some joy in these dark times.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve rewatched Scrubs. Such a great show!

GloveNinja, to worldnews in India has officially labeled Canada an international terrorist sanctuary — “a safe haven for terrorists, for extremists, and for organized crime,” in the words of the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson.

That’s bad

GloveNinja, to technology in All of Japan's Toyota Assembly Plants Shut Down for a Day Because Their Server Ran Out of Disk Space

In my experience, the C-Suite dicks will put the hammer down on someone and maybe fire a couple of folks. They’ll demand a summary of what happened and what will be done to stop it from happening again. IT will provide legit options to resolve this long term, but because that comes with a price tag they’ll be told to fix it with “process changes” and the cycle continues.

If they give IT money that’s less for themselves at EOY for bonuses so it’s a big concern /s

GloveNinja, to casualconversation in I've been blocking ads for so long that actually seeing them feels perverse

Those ads bother me more than most because It’s entirely false advertising. Nothing shown in those ads for the most part reflects the actual gameplay in any way shape or form.

There was somebody who actually released a mobile game that has all of like the fake game mechanics from all the advertisements that you see on those ads and it’s awful but really funny lol

GloveNinja, to memes in I guess she's going to moove out

I’m utterly disappointed that no one has continued the conversation. Imagine the next text says “Fine, you can moove out” 🤣

GloveNinja, to mildlyinteresting in Front and back of $100 bill, real vs movie prop

They used an actual $100 bill in National Treasure iirc

GloveNinja, to games in Sony's Remote Play handheld Project Q has been renamed PlayStation Portal and will be available for $199

Not every gamer cares for PC gaming, and not every gamer really cares about 30 vs. 60 fps, or being able to stream 4k on an 8" screen.

I’m more than happy with my PS5, and Nintendo Switch. I’d be pumped to be able to stream any of my PlayStation games to a device like this while I travel for work. I don’t have as good of an experience using PS Remote Play on my phone or laptop, so this seems like a slam dunk for me.

GloveNinja, to technology in IBM’s generative AI tool aims to refactor ancient COBOL code for its mainframes

I’ve worked at many financial institutions and government agencies, and they all have extremely old mainframe systems running COBOL. Every time the executives bolster “We’re finally going to move off of this old system and modernize”, I show them the price and they scamper off into their back rooms to whine about profit margins. It’s always fun when something does go wrong with those systems and they go through the cycle all over again, but now it’s even more expensive to fix

GloveNinja, to technology in Microsoft Finally Realizes Nobody Wants Its Windows 11 Preinstalled Bloatware

If I could also get the ability to disable internet search results from the start menu that’d be great. So sick of looking for a file or app, hitting enter a second too soon, and having Edge slowly eat my resources to display a Bing search result that I never wanted.

GloveNinja, to technology in A key feature of NFTs has completely broken / Web3 was supposed to make sure the original artist always got paid. Not so much anymore.

LOL no kidding

GloveNinja, to memes in Confession time

The other day my daughter told me she was hungry… All I did was ask what she wanted to eat! I will carry that with me for all my days

GloveNinja, to memes in 'The ones that came before' had crystal powered AirPods

Final Fantasy XVI is the most recent example I can think of, and iirc Jak and Daxter is one of the earliest ones I recall playing as a kid

GloveNinja, to memes in Never do this!

I love finding other poly folks in the wild! Lol
