Yay, it's #FollowFriday again! 😊 Let's see how many new friends we can make today.

$A parhelion, an atmospheric optical phenomenon that consists of a bright spot to one or both sides of the sun. Two sun dogs often flank the sun within a 22° halo. These are usually caused by refraction of sunlight through high atmospheric ice crystals. This one appeared as a pretty arc of bright rainbow colours at the tip of a hazy strip in the blue sky. There are clouds above and below it, and the top of a tree is visible, and the shadows within the cloud show that the sun is off-screen to the left. The colours are quite strong, but very localised.$
