It’s none of the company’s business how an employee gets to work. It’s just not.
The company should compensate the employee fairly or well for the COL in the area the job is. That’s it. It’s not their job to worry about how the employee gets to work.
Other than allowing/encouraging WFH where it makes sense the company shouldn’t try to tell the employees how to live.
So I set up an email server for my friends or my hobby train club and decide to ban another email server. Everyone in my club is now screwed. It actually fits better than I originally thought.
I never pirated much, then I pretty much stopped when online services became usable and cost effective.
Now I really feel the urge to go back to pirating, services have become extremely fragmented and difficult to use. There are less shows/movies available than ever. And the cost is sky rocketing.
Depends on the effects, one time theory I saw recently held that altering time was like a ripple or earthquake. The further you get away from the change the less effect you have.
