Increasingly I'm finding to be the best of the "normy" social media platforms. is where I have conversations, LinkedIn is where I follow industry trends and try not to become nauseated with the hustle culture nonsense.

I don't see how or really fit in to my mental conceptions of what I want out of social media. But LinkedIn, eh, it serves a purpose.

If any or @law folks are similarly straddling both worlds, look me up.

@RuthFlaherty @edutooters now I'm pondering if a werewolf would be subject to the one-bite rule. 🤔

Colarusso,
@Colarusso@mastodon.social avatar

@RuthFlaherty @edutooters It's an old common law rule.¹ I think it still exists in a minority of US states. It assumes the owner of a domesticated animal cannot be held liable for the animal attacking someone unless they had reason to believe the animal was dangerous. So they get a "pass" on liability for "one-bite." After that they should know better.

So, there's a lot to unpack here. Is the human the werewolf's "owner;" are werewolves domesticated animals, etc.?

@Rbratspies but a common bit of vampire lore is that they can only enter a home if invited. The question is if permission from the state satisfy this. 🧛‍♂️😉

@Rbratspies and yes. I was wondering about the person who turns into the werewolf. I think it’s probably more of a capacity question.
