Most studios do not have a dedicated PR team. That’s a larger developer/publisher luxury. Often they just hack away at it together as a group or maybe if they’re lucky have one dedicated “social media manager“ who functions for basically anything remotely related to PR and marketing.
About four years ago, I sat down and organized all of my cables, then tied all the matching cables together with bongo ties/Velcro straps. A lot of it of course has become scattered again, but I am still reaping the benefits from having them all generally grouped together. It is worth the hour or two folks!
I’m sorry that that is their goal, and I’m sorry you don’t have the tools you need. Regardless, I’m not sure how best to handle it at this point. It’s getting pretty irritating.
I use terminal commands to access our S3 bucket at work and some of my colleagues look at me like I am hackerman. It’s hysterical tbh. They all know it’s not actually impressive but none of them do anything like that
