Dion Graham’s narration of The Wager is awesome. Just riveting.

📖September Book Wrap-Up 📖

Because of taking time for myself and enjoying a pleasant and relaxing vacation, I got to read more books, and not one of them disappointed me! It pays when you finally have time to read, which shows in stats.

We are about one month away from one of my favorite times of the year…fall reading! But we still have a couple more weeks before that begins, so let us enjoy the remaining days of summer with great book releases!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

Bold, intriguing, and psychologically compelling, "Penance" is a book that will stay with you always once you read it. Perfect for readers who enjoy true crime and unreliable narrators, "Penance" is a book that will leave you speechless.

Thank you NetGalley and Harper for an advanced copy on exchange for an honest review.

⭐⭐⭐/5

It had some strong points, but I felt the execution was a bit off in this one. It felt drawn out and slow. I thought that it would be better as a movie than a novel. And although you can see who the culprit was a mile away, I found the technology aspect a bit confusing and daunting for a person who is either tech-savvy or not. I think anyone will be thrown off by these technology terms and not be interested in reading this.
