Okay, here's my opinion on TesseracT's latest album "War of Being":
It's huge! 😲
After listening to it for the 3rd time, it unleashed all its magic. The beginning is merciless and makes you totally want more. In between every now and then TesseracT-typical relaxation. Then it returns in a heavy way. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes aggressive. A successful alternating bath of feelings. And yet everything fits together and results in a pretty masterful overall work... 🧵
@clmbmb yes, most of the time he's screaming, but there are one or two sections where he puts a small growl iirc :) not typical for him, that's why I noticed it.
@thomas@clmbmb In the title track "War Of Being", he does something that does sound a lot like growling indeed. I found his vocal work on this album simply amazing, never heard him sing like this (I'm usually more listening to Amos, for some reason 😅).
@thomas: Thanks! 😊 TesseracT is one of my favourite bands too, I love what they do. I've started working on Survival from Polaris, which is probably my top song from them. Once you've figured it out, it's actually surprisingly easy. 😅 And can't wait for the new album too, War of Being is an absolute banger!
After having listened to TesseracT's "War of Being" for the 5th time, I really cannot wait to see them perform the songs live on February, 2nd in Munich 😍
I have huuuuge expectations!
