I made a pledge on Kickstarter for "Solarpunk Magazine" 2024 with only a few hours to go - I've loved reading the magazine this year and am really happy to support them!
Got waylaid by all the great perks but
ended up going with the #Lunarpunk collection because I loved the short story "Midnight Serenade" by @jendiagammon (@jendiagammon) and I wanted to read their novel "The Inn at the Amethyst Lantern" - very excited!
Linda reviews "Trueflame" by Vanessa Ricci-Thode, Fireborn book 2:
"I recommend Trueflame and would suggest reading book one first. This book is full of amazing characters, betrayals, secrets, and surprises - a war between water and fire. Wow."
The trilogy of Ferryman is now complete : Ferryman, Trespassers and Outcasts. I only read the first book for the moment, but I really loved this ya novel. The characters are very deep and touching and their backstories are explored along the way. Claire Mc Fall’s novel is extremely poetic and introspective. It is a spiritual and paranormal romance, a very unique mixture that kept me hooked.
The battle is won, but the war is far from over. In this thrilling sequel, a twelve-year-old nonbinary hopeful knight fights for the heart of their kingdom in a magical medieval world filled with dragons, shape-shifters, and witches.
Good morning, @bookstodon , just popping in to remind you that 'The Betrayals' by Bridget Collins is FUCKING BRILLIANT.
(Still only half done, but I have never resented needed to go to work as much as I do this morning.)
Moonlight Blade debuts on Silver Claw November 14th, 2023. That’s a little over a week away with episode one, and continuing on a bi-weekly basis up to episode 6. This is a long project that’s years in the making and I can’t wait to introduce the world of Arcana and the Polaris Universe.

My beloved vector shared a virus, as toddlers are wont to do. And I am not up to reading something new. I pulled #PatriciaMcKillip's Ombria in Shadow from the shelf and read it today.
No, it is not a favourite in her oeuvre, but it had some shivering resonances with our current events. A #fantasy tale about memory and perception, before and after, and how culture, society, identity, has complex interconnections between fable and fact.
A spellbinding romantic fantasy about a powerful witch who will do anything to escape the remote island she’s being held captive on, including blackmail a notorious, charming pirate who washes up on shore, from debut author Angela Montoya.
Lucy Mason has a new FF fantasy mermaid romance out: The Endless Sea Between Us.
Five years ago, Faeryn Moss lost her family and home to a plague that swept her village. As the sole survivor, she was rumored to be a witch—a rumor she never denied because it was the truth...
