woodcroft,

I am making this statement without doing any research - bc lazy.

Okay this art is sick - what a great painting.

Regarding the use of “ye” - now, I always thought ye was a substitute for “the”. Something like printing presses just using y instead of th bc easier.

So is this an incorrect usage of “ye”, as it’s a sub for “your/you”?

Again - I’ve done no research or fact checking, and I am not going to. I WONT DO IT.

LanMandragondeez,

I’ve also done 0 research, but I assume the name refers to the opening lines of a pretty famous poem, which is using “ye” to address a group of people; basically the poem is saying “go get some while you’re young and hot”

woodcroft,

That’s hot

LanMandragondeez,

Verily

daneBramage,

Ye means You/Your/Yours

Ye olde pizza hut = your old pizza hut

In this its “Gather your rosebuds while you may”

woodcroft,

Lol okay I did google it and the title of this art is the actual quote they demonstrate usage with.

Says it’s thou though - so like, you’re actually kinda wrong
