Really hope that future generations will hear about how it used to be normal for people to start losing their minds in their 60s and 70s and be just as horrified as we are when we, like, hear about how historical figures had five children and all but one died of the pox
well we’re safe right? those were in the past, I mean, the 60’s and the 70’s, that was 50 years ago, we’re now in the 2020s. we’re all past that, lucky eh?
The problem is that these mice don’t have Alzheimer’s. They’re bred to develop the symptoms: “plaques and neurofibrillary tangles, which comprise abnormally aggregated β-amyloid peptide (Aβ) and hyperphosphorylated tau protein”
