Considering how commoditized and mass-produced human-authored pop music has been for decades now, I have no doubt that this is the future.

That said, still a ways to go. It sounds like it was haphazardly cut together from short pieces that were generated independently, and the music doesn’t line up. (To be fair, this is true of professional mainstream pop music as well if you have a good ear, just not to this extent.) If this were polished up a bit, I wouldn’t know it was not an ordinary human pop song.
