When I go to view an individual community the newest posts are not always showing. Some communities look like they have no posts, even though I know that they do. Example: lemmy.world/c/autismWhen I view the link I only see posts that are from August 5th or older. When viewing all on the instance, newer posts will appear though....
This is completely counter productive to growing Lemmy. I absolutely despise discord. Look at the network traffic it generates and tell me wtf they are doing. They won’t tell you. Their business model will leave you completely dumbfounded as to how they exist. Everything shared on the platform is lost in a black hole...
Surprised lemmy.ml hasn’t defederated that instance, given the massive amount of brigading, racism and blatant misinformation that their users encourage....
@comcreator has created 80+ communities here, most of which are empty save for a “Looking for moderators” post. Some have 0-3 posts which are nearly all from the creator and a couple have some regular user activity....
User @soraya (Soraya Pepe) is advertising a forum service as well as a booking site where you can order donuts* that they’ll deliver to your hotel room. They are using bit.ly links to obscure links to their forum topics in community sidebars as well. These communities are !free and !woman....
I created two communities. I am the only mod on them. The communities are incredibly small. I would like to create a 3rd unique community, but for over a week - I have not been able to create a new community. Is there a limit?...
Is there an update to Lemmy you’re waiting on? Is there a Cloudflare upgrade? What’s the game plan going forward for resolving these constant outages? Knowing that there **is **a plan going forward would be a great relief to me, and probably some others.
They are a lemmy instance dedicated to the facilitation of piracy, and copyright infringement in general which is illegal. It is by nature in violation of the rules of your instance which prohibit illegal content, therefore it is imperative that you defederate it in accordance with your policies.
A shroom community was removed from lemmy.world as it was considered “illegal” content by the admins. The logic behind this is boggling, to say the least....
I’m basically alone on 3d printing. It might be a good idea to recruit some help at some point, but I’m in a conundrum about what to do. I didn’t create the community, and I’m the 4th mod down. The other 3 are not active. I don’t want to discourage them, but I don’t want the community to get discouraged by inactive...
I was using a penis ring because I like to try something new but it got stuck on my dick due to too much girth and I can’t get it off, please help me what do I do, how can I get this thing off my dick?
I’ve been trying to post a - rather long - comment for a while, and it’s just not going through. It just instantly disappears on old.lemmy.world, and sits there spinning on the main site - while one-liner comments elsewhere have worked as normal. I’m not getting errors, but that’s kind of par for the course. Could it be...
I know you all are dealing with DDoS and how that goes. I run DDoS mitigation for some juicy targets and do a lot of on-call response to handle those issues, so believe me when I say I know what you are dealing with....
