I can’t upload any kind of image to Lemmy. Regardless of device I use, iPhone/Voyager or Mac/Firefox, I get this HTTP 403 error. The issue persists regardless of which wireless network I am connected to....
I have just tried to change my user avatar from my browser and no matter what image format I try to use be it png or jpg it quickly flashes up some json error. I cannot even change it from the Android app.
@JPthePirate has created their account 2 months ago (like many redditfugees) and created 40+ communities, only to never log back in. The communities are for the most part empty and completely unmoderated - and a lot of them are “brand names” like the names of videogame studios (!bethesda, !blizzard, !devolverdigital,...
Image popped up. I reported it as ‘not labeled nsfw’. Just as it was going i saw that it was labeled but the app i was using (liftoff) must have missed it.
I’ve noticed recently that a couple comments I made don’t show up in my user page. If someone responds to my comment I can get to it through the notifications page, otherwise, I have no way to find/see it....
Is there any way to auto-hide/control which communities are served when browsing based on the language of the community? For example, if I don’t speak French, I won’t realistically want to see content that is solely in French that I can’t understand.
The creator has been inactive for two months, and was apparently online only for a day total. @norte created the account on June 12th, 2023 - then the community at the same day, then one single comment the same day, and since then - nothing....
Since lemmy.fmhy.ml and lemmy.fmhy.net is no longer online. I would like to suggest lemmy.world and other instances to delete any communities and posts from these two instances that are cached....
creator @remus has been offline longer than they were online. i messaged him a few times and he seemed pretty acquiescent, but i have messaged him since and he hasn’t responded...
When I go to view an individual community the newest posts are not always showing. Some communities look like they have no posts, even though I know that they do. Example: lemmy.world/c/autismWhen I view the link I only see posts that are from August 5th or older. When viewing all on the instance, newer posts will appear though....
This is completely counter productive to growing Lemmy. I absolutely despise discord. Look at the network traffic it generates and tell me wtf they are doing. They won’t tell you. Their business model will leave you completely dumbfounded as to how they exist. Everything shared on the platform is lost in a black hole...
I can’t log in to Lemmy.world. It says email not verified but I am not sent an email nor given any other option to verify. Is there anyway to get help with this? I had to create another account to post this question.
Surprised lemmy.ml hasn’t defederated that instance, given the massive amount of brigading, racism and blatant misinformation that their users encourage....
