I guess I misread the announcement. It wasn’t 5 owls on the Livestream. It was 5 new raptors joining the education team:
Harris Hawk
Red Shouldered Hawk
American Kestrel
Barn Owl
Screech Owl
And there was one if the senior ambassadors, a Great Horned Owl also, and after the feed they switched to the flight room camera where a Saw Whet Owl was getting some practice flying again.
The highlights were the Harris Hawk and the Screechie. They had the most assertive attitudes of the bunch.
Overall a cute little presentation and they’re about 2/3 of the way to raising $60,000 to get a matching $60,000 to fund the center for the next year.
