Doug, Fair enough. Nothing indicated to me it was supposed to be today’s date.
EinfachUnersetzlich, Multiple LCD screens in train carriages would have been significantly less common in 2003.
Doug, That contextualizes the whole thing much better for me. I’ve never seen a train interior like this before. It looked like a clear table with something on top of it to me. No idea why it would be displaying the time.
