DrChaotica,

Obviously, Ms. Frizzle is a Q.

Stamets,
@Stamets@startrek.website avatar

That would actually make a whole lot of fucking sense.

It wasn't until I became a Doctor Who fan that I realised the Frizz is actually a rogue Time Lord. The bus is simply her TARDIS.

DrChaotica,

If this were !doctorwho I would’ve written that instead myself, LOL.

chuckleslord,

As a Java programmer, Lemmy’s linking system confuses me sometimes.

I was like “what do you mean if this were not the doctor who community? It isn’t, just do it!”

JWBananas,
@JWBananas@startrek.website avatar

Oh pretty pretty please, Lower Decks! Do it while she’s still alive!

Roundcat,
@Roundcat@kbin.social avatar

Well Captain Frizz, you're the SECOND captain to strand their crew in the Delta Quadrant.

Stamets,

“Oh Goshdarnit, we apparently arrived a few years too late. Liz Ard, remind me to check the busses chronometer when we get home.”

mercano,
@mercano@lemmy.world avatar

Liz has been replaced with one of Janeway & Tom’s lizard babies.

Semi-Hemi-Demigod,

"Please let this be a normal five-year mission"

"With The Frizz? No way!"

Roundcat,
@Roundcat@kbin.social avatar

Cruising down on Vulcan, being relaxed and feeling free.

Next that you know it, you see a waahahahoooo Romulans in the galaxy?

Stamets,
@Stamets@startrek.website avatar

Brilliant. I can picture it way too well and cannot stop giggling.

Semi-Hemi-Demigod,
@Semi-Hemi-Demigod@kbin.social avatar

I like to think that kids take field trips with The Frizz on the holodeck

Kolrami,

That explains Voyager.

The_Picard_Maneuver,

Remember the space travel episode where the nerdy kid took off his helmet on Pluto? I’m still a little traumatized.

Stamets,
@Stamets@startrek.website avatar

Yeah, his whole ass head crystalizing immediately. Magic School Bus had more horror in it than people give it credit for. It’s no Courage the Cowardly Dog but it’s close.

ArbitraryValue,

You may have been mislead…

Pluto has effectively no atmosphere so I think if you’re standing on its surface and your boots are well-insulated then you’re effectively in a vacuum thermos - you’ll actually overheat rather than freeze and taking your helmet off won’t make a difference.

(Of course the helmet is still important for breathing… And then later water from your body will gradually boil off into space and cool you that way until you’re freeze-dried, but that’s not really a concern for living astronauts.)

MajorHavoc,

I assume you’re quoting Ms Frizz as she lectures the boys frozen head…
