Popular is so stale now.
I’ve been chiming in over the last few weeks for some gardening subs I missed. First of all, the app is terrible and the lack of sorting makes it even more garbage....

I love the idea of the fediverse, but the killer feature of reddit is its search results, and so far there doesn’t seem to be much of a public search for lemmy/mastodon. What are some search-friendly sites I could spend my time and money on?
It’s like the dude who’s come over to ask for money, making a low-effort attempt to be friendly first, and talk to you like he’s your buddy....
Opera GX was showing squares in place of icons and wasn’t working well, so I disabled GX’s adblocker and cleared cache. That logged me out and now this is all that gets loaded in when i go to a post. Does anybody know how to fix it?...

Hypothetically, they could implement some internal api and open Reddit to the fediverse no? What would happen then? (I’m sure they won’t because they want the money… but I’m just speculating…)
What a pointless fluff piece. It’s the Motley Fool, so no surprise there. And I love how Huffman sounds like a 5th grader giving a book report. “All good companies should go public when they can.”...
I got gold out of nowhere, so enjoy how boring it looks.
So I’m in the bus, happily browsing Lemmy in Jerboa. I clicked on a Reddit link in a Lemmy post that silently opened the Reddit app without my noticing (cuz I was paying attention to my bus stop). The subreddit had this grey theme going on, so overall the Reddit client kinda looked like Jerboa....

If you ever wanted to search something on Reddit but didn’t want to use Reddit or if you wanted to look back on your post/comment history, now you can again!...
Curious to see what reddit posts folks here have saved
21+ accounts exposed on Reddit (most created on the same day / only interact with each other). - Still active accounts.
Hi! I came here looking for an alternative to Reddit which is less of a liberal echo chamber. It looks good, even more responsive. But I wonder, how is the moderation here? Biggest problem I have with Reddit is that it is becoming increasingly impossible to have discussions about “sensitive topics”. Even if you are being...
Like, yeah there was a huge protest and a big deal of it made about it. But, I never once saw numbers....
In the past when I tried using reddit with tor I have to do about 20 CAPTCHA’s and even then the comment/post would still get auto-removed from reddit’s filters....
Holy hell Reddit is invasive. Got banned a few years ago. Went to make a new account and within a day it was banned. New email, new computer… how the hell do they have way too much information on you? It’s actually kinda scary how insidious those fuckers are.
hello!
