There is just about NO press on this issue for Iowa.

The book ban on any books with LGBTQ+ content or sex acts has gotten more press:

Press on Senate File 538 seems limited to last March 2023, and concentrates on banning of hormone treatments rather than counseling or lawsuits that can be brought against providers or how such is now a a licensing board disciplinary risk:

This Desmoines Register article does mention other similar laws (like in Alabama and Arkansas) but again concentrates on puberty blockers and hormone therapy.
