It's a bad time to be on social media now given to:

  • weird recent changes in X
  • no web exp. for Threads
  • Mastodon bad UX

I should invest in my blog newsletter. I had about 2K subscribers (thank you!). I haven't sent a newsletter in a long period, and now is the time, maybe?

The appearance of the mastodon by default does not cause the desire to stay in it for a long time. Maybe it was intended that way, I don't know.

It's not the core of the UX, but a couple of things like:

  • The UI doesn't feel smooth to me. It's a bit rigid.
