kopper, 8 months ago @Marie i guess it's fine for my use case considering i'm selfhosting and can only annoy people through federation but wouldn't that still cause any issues for multi-user instances?

Marie, 8 months ago @kopper not really as with those being ripped out it will also not create webhook notifications for mentions, pings and etc. The goal was mainly to let people have their old content be on the same platform without annoying anyone down the line.
