Trump tells us what he’s going to do. Pay attention.
Via New Yorker: A signal from #Trump that did not get much attention: “If I happen to be president and I see somebody who’s doing well and beating me very badly, I say, ‘Go down and indict them.' They’d be out of business. They’d be out of the election.”
@GottaLaff It's amazing watching this from outside the U.S.
That he's still their front-runner despite everything he did in the White House, everything he's done since, and this trial, is absolutely bananas.
I (and many others) called it years ago, and every report like this underscores it: He's every bit a cult leader. And people need to realize that his repeated message to his (cultist) supporters -- he's been wronged and can do no wrong -- is VERY close to winning him the presidency again.
@GottaLaff I'm reminded of a quick article I read a year or so into Trump's presidency, when a woman who was married to an illegal immigrant from Mexico was genuinely shocked when ICE showed up to send him back to Mexico.
SHE VOTED FOR TRUMP. But said that when she wanted him to get rid of illegal immigrants, she didn't think that her husband would be among them. Like, she wanted THOSE immigrants gone, but not THIS one.
Such stunning wilful blindness that continues merrily on.
