@awkwardcat I have watched Helluva Boss but not Hazbin Hotel. I don't love all of it but I will keep watching for now. We need more indie projects like it.
@awkwardcat I'd rather watch an imperfect indie series than a formulaic studio product. Besides, the things that bother me are unlikely to have been done any better by a big studio.
@AimeeMaroux yeah... I also notice how big studios just get more boring (a ton of safe remakes) and people pleasers for money instead of trying to make interesting things . Indie may not have big budgets, but it feels more personal.
@awkwardcat Definitely! Even if there are some movies coming out of the machinery that are enjoyable or even good, the indie films I have seen were on average much more thought-provoking and actually had something to say.
