Rep Santos reads remarks off papers on his podium. Calls his colleagues “reckless” for moving to expel him. “One can’t say they’re pro-constitution and act as judge, jury and executioner”
@GottaLaff just saying to whoever cares: a pet peeve of mine is politicians facing consequences prescribed by the constitution for political misconduct screaming that they are being denied a legal right to due process in CRIMINAL proceedings.
He's being fired. He's getting way more due process than most people do when getting fired. We tried to fire Trump.
If he's expelled and the people in his district want him back or disagree with Congress he should just run again.
