@RememberUsAlways I support ennocent people that are slaughtered on both sides. Any group that would kill civilians (incl. the USA) are being terrorist.

If you’re trying to justify the Israeli govt’s actions by saying Russia is ok, that’s not really going to make it any more palatable to the vast majority of people. The ICC has a warrant out for Putin, and the European Parliament considers Russia a state sponsor of terrorism. Hamas, Putin, Netanyahu. I said it yesterday, and I’ll say it again: They are all ugly, corrupt, obsessive warmongers who have no desire for peace.
@RememberUsAlways
Again, your comments can not justify the Israeli govt’s actions. Their words and their actions have targeted the Palestinian people, not Hamas. Just as Russia and Hamas have done. It is abhorrent, and I fear that it is making Israel more vulnerable. Allies are beginning to temper their statements of support, and I am sure that Israel’s enemies are watching avidly.
People don't seem to want to see the distinction between targeting civilians, and targeting a military target that entails civilian casualties.
The onset of this war was a clear, clear, clear targeting of civilians. Pure barbarism, for no direct military purpose. Kill people up front, and take more people hostage who stand a good chance of ending up dead, being used as human shields with other Palestinians trapped in the crossfire...by an Hamas leadership that resides well away from any threat themselves.
That this was done on the Yom Kippur anniversary underlines how long this has been planned. One cannot invest that much in a planning cycle, and still have delusions as to the reaction to a plan. Or at least, it's hard to envision such an operation being so miscalculated that they didn't foresee devastation of their own area...and they wouldn't have built such an intricate tunnel system for defense/offensive headquarters.
The tunnels are reminiscent of Vietnam. I hope the tactical expertise of tunnel ratting has not been lost.

Of course, that’s the point. Hamas doesn’t care about Palestinians, and they know the Israeli govt doesn’t either. They knew that the Israeli response would be horrific. Neither Hamas nor Netanyahu want there to be peace between Palestinians and Israelis. Their power comes from fear and anger, and their people suffer for it.
"Of course that’s the point. Hamas doesn’t care about Palestinians, and they knew that the Israeli response would be horrific. Hamas doesn't want there to be peace between Palestinians and Israelis. Hamas's primary motivation is the continuation of billions in revenue stream generated from black market tunnel taxes, & humanitarian aid."
Fixed it.
