Judge Tanya Chutkan, who had stayed her gag order pending appeal, reinstated it after Trump came after Mark Meadows. She ruled that this “almost certainly” would have been a violation had it been in effect. Now, we know that Donald Trump can’t help himself. He’s sure to violate it again. So the parties will be back before the judge not long from now arguing what the appropriate sanction should be. A big fine? He won’t care. Send him to jail? That will make him a martyr and turn the trial into a circus. It will certainly be interesting to see what she does next time he crosses her.

He CAN and HAS controlled himself. He is choosing not to, until the consequences exceed the perceived benefits. Don't feed into the myth that he isn't able to control himself. This is deliberate.
