One of my dogs is acting strange. Shaking and hiding. My mom and I checked to see if he was hurt but we couldn't find anything. Idk what's wrong and I'm worried. #dogsofmastodon#DogsOfFedi#dogs
@jerry No idea, but I remember a few days ago he wasn't interested in cookies which is strange. The issue is I can't take him to the vet and my mom tends to wait too long for stuff like this. If it comes to it, I'm going to take him myself.
@alex_02 yeah, he needs to be seen very soon. Be sure to write down all the things you’ve observed and for how long it’s been happening. Hopefully it’s something simple to address, but he’s currently in distress and likely a lot of pain.
@jerry Looks like something seriously spooked him. He isn't even taking cookies and is extremely clingy. Going to monitor him as best as I can and call the vet asap.
@jerry He isn't shaking anymore or hiding in a corner so I think something really really spooked him. Might've been his brother, but the behavior is strange.
@alex_02 keep an eye on him. The problem with dogs and cats is that they will tend to hide symptoms until it’s really bad, so it’s important to keep an eye on their behavior to keep them healthy and happy. My fingers are crossed this was the problem with yours.
@jerry What pisses me off the most about my dog literally showing symptoms that can be catastrophic is the audacity of my mom for telling me I'm encouraging the behavior when my dog is literally shaking and hiding in a fucking corner. Sorry. My anger is just unbelievable.
