@totentanz ne, macht sogar Sinn. Andere Server föderieren einfach mehr Kram hierher, also wir uns ansehen :)

So oder so ähnlich kann man es sehen.

@totentanz für eine Webapp ist das im Allgemeinen eher ungewöhnlich, da gebe ich dir recht. Aber ins Fediverse-Modell passt das eigentlich ganz gut.

@thomas ok, hätte ich trotzdem nicht erwartet, dass der Unterschied zu groß ist.
Weil die Inhalte kommen zwar von überall rein, aber gehen mehrfach raus.

@manon in the first 3 months our contract said that 2 TB of traffic are included. If we had more traffic, we had to pay additional fees.

Later the data center supplier agreed to raise the included traffic volume to 9 TB. We always pay for at least 9 TB now - regardless whether we actually consume 9 or not. For more than 9 TB we are charged additional fees (but considerably less than before).
