Chromium is a piece of crap btw. No matter what 'version' of the browser I use, Chrome/Edge/Chromium, what OS I'm in, or what machine I'm on, it regularly freezes up and can't do anything for a minute or so.
It's not even like it's' pegging the CPU on these systems. I just seen it freeze on my Ubuntu laptop with total CPU usage at just 66%.
Might have to go back to Firefox like it's 20 years ago.
