@stux My quibble is that they could have gone with

1. is in orbit around the Sun
2. has sufficient mass to assume hydrostatic equilibrium (a nearly round shape)
3. has an atmosphere

and had all the same planets as before. Instead they went with "clearing the neighbourhood" specifically to exclude Pluto.
