Reminder that you can mute single users in your timeline if they post too much / frequently 😉.

Visit the profile of the user, then select "mute" and decide where to mute their posts.

There are some users who post Metal news very frequently and I know some of you are annoyed by that - but: Some users might also want to follow these news. So I don't want to create a hard limit for these accounts (unless they post very frequently / "spamming").

@thomas Thanks for the reminder. Muting is a good solution, works fine for me. No need for more strict rules from my side. As you said, there are people who might like this kind of news.

If they're feed accounts you can also ask them to autopost unlisted so they don't flood the timelines, and followers will still get them in their home timeline without interruption

if they want more visibility they can always have a human operated account and show up and interact occasionally :)

@thomas Right, that's good advice.

Alternatively you can hide only boosts by selected users. This way you still see their genuine content in your timeline.
