Shower thought: with SAG and WGA on strike, there soon won’t be much new content on many streaming platforms. Seems like winter is coming for those streaming services.
@jerry I've been slowly ditching all my streaming services anyways. HBO/Max is gone due to funding JK Rowling. Hulu I watch one show a month so not worth it (plus they are raising prices). I've been thinking of doing without Amazon Prime too so that might be gone soon. Probably keep Netflix and Disney for a little while.
I hate that streaming has become so segmented now. It's arguably worse than cable/satellite services now.
@CatDad I think I might subscribe to HBO long enough to binge the second season of gen lock that I never got to see then cancel it.
Seems like some day, some company is going to make a fortune by packaging up the various streaming services into channels. And then they could call it Cable TV over internet or something dumb like that.
