whoever made USB-C to where there are cables that only support power, and some that support different amounts of data depending on the orientation or even whether whoever made the cable put enough wires in, needs an ass-kicking
Because that guarantees that if I need a USB-C to USB-A cable that supports charging and data, I will pick the WRONG DAMNED ONE every time
