One of the downsides to being bald is sunburns on the head. I am doubly lucky because a sunburn makes me feel sick. I think I learned the hard way that my new bottle of sunscreen was a dud

@jerry I am similarly afflicted and use SPF 50+ for kids. While it may sound like an overkill, still it works great.

@jerry For everyone suggesting a hat, remember “the amount of sun protection a hat provides is inversely proportional to how stupid it looks” (don’t remember where I originally read that)

@jerry I'll join the voices of "hat" and throw in that just a baseball cap is a bad idea - just imagine the sunburn contrast from that.

    @jerry adopt a cap, and use it—advice from a bolding guy here, living in the perennial hell called Florida. If cap isn’t an option, apply sunscreen. Generously.

    @david I have a beach place in Florida as well and spend quite a lot of time in the sun there. I have always had good luck with sunscreen keeping me from even getting tan, but the stuff I used today just didn’t seem to work
