Let the finger pointing begin.

Former Georgia Republican Party Chair David Shafer, indicted in Georgia for his role in the fake elector scheme, said attorneys for Trump, his campaign and the local GOP were responsible for urging him to assemble a slate of false presidential electors that are now at the heart of a sprawling racketeering case.

@Teri_Kanefield How amazing... somehow all these people were just simply highjacked by others and can't possibly be held responsible for their own actions 🙃

(this worked well for the OG Nazis too I bet...)

@Teri_Kanefield Here is something I don't understand. Let's say it was determined there was fraud and the other candidate won a state, who had the authority to pick these alternate delegates? It is presented as an official process but I keep seeing people with no authority selecting these electorate slates.

@Teri_Kanefield serious question - how has Cleta Mitchell escaped any charges, given that she was on the Trump-Raffensberger call? My cousin was a partner at Foley at that time (he has since retired), that was a wild wild 24 hours at the Foley Firm, buying Cleta out of her partnership (thank you Fred Wellman for that 24 hour window!)

@theandil

None of us have seen all the evidence. In particular, we haven't seen the defenses or evidence the defendants have.

However, Fani Willis has seen it.

If someone wasn't charged there is one reason: There wasn't enough evidence to secure a conviction at trial. Put another way: The person had a solid defense.

Remember: we have only seen part of the evidence.

Actually, a second possible reason: Willis screwed up, but there is no reason to believe that.
