The leannán sídhe Is a fairy from Irish folklore. The name means “The Fairy Lover” She is an etheric beauty that takes a lover and will eventually drain their life force and sanity in exchange for creative Inspiration. So they live a short life but an inspired one.

@GaymerGeek Fairy Tale Tuesday is the best. I remember reading about leannán sídhe in high school...At the time, I wanted to be her for...Reasons! This particular fairy is a demon in Shin Megami Tensei 5...Her debilitating spells and useful passive ability made her strong in the early game.

@WanderingInDigitalWorlds I love Shin Megami Tensei for that it was really accurate descriptions of myth and folklore for their monsters they used :D

@GaymerGeek Exactly, exposing gamers to other cultures in a fun way makes for a great experience. You'll learn more that way in some cases than a dry textbook. As those mythological figures are given life with their dialogues, design, and personalities!
