I get very frustrated at how quickly everyone wants to disregard the ongoing #COVID19 pandemic and repeat infections as a source of rising mortality and shortened lifespans. Yes, sedentary lifestyle, microplastics, substance abuse and the rest are health threats. But the ONLY significant, population-level event that's occured in the past three years (and continues to occur) is COVID.
