chillicampari, This year I am trying a dormancy setup for the carnivorous plants in a cold storage room next to a wall that should get close to freezing in a few weeks (growing zone 7b) or whenever it stays cold throughout the day. It's a bit earlier than I would usually do, but I want to see how they adjust before fully committing to the setup. The lighting is made for hibernation (Parus overwintering LED) but it's the first year I've used them.

Closeup of Venus Flytrap starting to enter dormancy. Most new growth is smaller traps and older growth is turning black with some of it laying down in the pot.
A plastic pot with many small Venus Flytraps, one year old. This is their first dormancy. Many of the plants are lying down on the soil and there are a lot of blackened traps.
Sarracenia Rubra in a white pot. Some of the leaves are drying out and the whole plant is curling more inwards than they do over the summer.
