I love these little guys, they were all over our garden when I was a kid. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen one unfortunately :(

Thanks, I used Google Lens to reverse image search and then cross referenced the results with my state’s biodiversity page.
hutchmcnugget, Is this an example or convergent evolution or mimicry? Or something else I’m not aware of?
Evil_Shrubbery, Yes (convergent part), but I would say that it’s more like the bird(s) one is converging to take the classic infect job
