Advances in technology allow callers to mask their voices, phone numbers or IP addresses (also called “spoofing”) or make their false 911 calls sound more credible.
It took them long enough. I mean it’s been happening for decades. There isn’t a month that goes by where I haven’t seen a stream get swatted. Two nights ago they swatted Will Neff and Caroline Kwan. Not the first time too. Which is sad because the police should know.
