Traditionally, in numismatics, they are called trophies and that makes sense when you see them placed next to a naked captive. The Romans would effectively if not officially, be making a trophy out of their arms. But, seen like this, carried by semi-nude Mars, maybe it was just his arms bundled so that he can carry them around 🤷♂️
