Yes quaint, good point. I rebuttal with the action of ‘retrieval’. Its a selective adaption based on the environment of said pups/dogs. It exhibits itself through the act of ‘shunning’ the ball by said subject, to be ‘retrieved’ by the human counterpart. Psych research is looking for funding to study this pattern further.
