I still need to play the second P2 game and all the the Raido Kuzunoha games. Actually, I need to replay some ps2 Atlus classics, since it’s been so long! I’m not into Majin Tensei or Demikids either. I jumped over some of the Persona spin-offs as well.

feels like a megaten game with a severe lack of polish. lots of repeated dungeon. on launch the combat was slow as FUCK but they’ve patched in run buttons and animation skips. my biggest gripe beyond that though was the fact that the characters were absolutely fucking terrible. maybe one member of the only cast had any semblance of a personality
I played all of EO besides the Japan-only spinoff and the HD trilogy.
Also played a fan translation of Nora and the Time Studio, which I heard was made by the EO team and is a Atelier Ryza-like game (haven’t played) Though it has little gameplay comparison, besides being, kind of hard later on in the combat sections. And the game has a time limit too, so, I feel like I only beat half the game’s combat side by the time the ending rolled around - I spent most of the time crafting and doing requests. It was a nice experience though, I just accepted that you probably aren’t meant to explore and beat everything (though I WAS hoping for a post-game…)
Oh yeah, Catherine Classic was great too. It gets less fanservicy quickly, despite the marketing, and is hilarious too. I liked the final stage Chopin remix. Need to play Trauma Center eventually.
(Also played Stella Glow but that’s just published by Atlus USA, starts like generic anime trash but gets alright later. Riviera the Promised Land is weird but fun)
I’ve played the PSP versions of P1, P2iS, P3P, then P3FES, P4G, P5, P5R, P4A, P4AU, P3D, P4D, P5D. I entered the SMT universe with Persona which is why I’ve played most of them. Unfortunately the PSP version P2EP has never been localized, so I couldn’t play it.
Also played Nocturne, Soul Hackers, Devil Survivor. Currently playing Soul Hackers 2.

my take on the whole “it’s just persona again!?” sentiment is that hashino only left p-studio to be out of persona jail. ie being free from making games about teenagers in high school with themes of jungian psychology. i don’t think it’s surprising that he wants to create another jrpg with social sim elements. it’s not like dds is all that wildly different from nocturne despite them being two different series. at least re:fantasy has its own character and enemy designs across the board. its battle system also looks plenty different, what with the ‘press turn’ costs attached to skills and the job system.
this would be like if the mario odyssey director formed his own subsidiary studio and then created a mario-esque 3d platformer under it. it’s a ploy to dodge the mandated series branding. for that reason alone i’m expecting something more interesting than the recent megaten output.
