#otd 1035 died Knut ,the Great' (2). He was buried in the predecessor of Winchester Cathedral. In the 17th c., soldiers scattered his bones throughout the church. This is 1 of 6 chests where the bones are believed to rest today. #medievaldeath#medieval@medievodons@histodons
