http://www.wiglaf.org/vatican/2023/week41.html
Includes serious work on getting Pal.gr uploaded, A nice 14th C illustrated Boethius, a Genealogy of the Princes of Moscow, a humanist Greek Proclus, and some 19th C antiquarians to round it out
@bookhistodons @medievodons #Medieval #MedievodonsOtt.lat.2069 f.94v. A page of Boethius' De Musica with two columns of black Gothic text and an interval diagram at the bottom
p.1 from vat.gr.232. A copy of Proclus written between 1535 and 1549 by Iohannes Honorius. At the top there is a bar of blue and gold decoration over the author's name in gold. There is a block of minuscule greek and an elaborate coat of arms supported by mature putti at bottom.
